About Aurion Electric

Aurion Electric is a referral service operated by Roviq LLC. It sends Southern California homeowners to licensed electricians and publishes plain guides, cost ranges and city permit facts. The electrical work is done by a licensed partner electrician under its own CSLB license, not by Aurion Electric.

How it works

You send a ZIP code, what you need and, if you can, a photo of your panel. Aurion Electric passes the request to a licensed partner electrician, a California C-10 licensed electrical contractor. An electrician from that company contacts you, looks at the job and gives the quote.

Participating electricians pay a fee for referrals. That is how Aurion Electric is paid.

Aurion Electric is operated by Roviq LLC. It does not hold a contractor license and does not do electrical work. Check any contractor's license on the CSLB license lookup.

How the partner is checked

Aurion Electric sends requests only to an electrician whose C-10 license is active on the CSLB license lookup. You can ask the electrician for their license number and check it on the CSLB license lookup at cslb.ca.gov. If the license stops being active, requests stop going to that electrician. You can run the same check yourself; here is how.

License, insurance and workmanship

License. The check above is the first one: an active C-10 license on CSLB. Ask the electrician for their license number and look it up at cslb.ca.gov.

Insurance. Aurion Electric records the partner's general liability insurer and its phone number, and whether the partner carries workers' compensation, before any contract goes to a customer. California law requires the contract to state both. The contract tells you that you can call the insurer to confirm the coverage. You can also ask the electrician for a certificate of insurance before work starts.

Workmanship. Aurion Electric does not inspect the work. The check on workmanship is the city or county building inspector, who signs off permitted work. Before you agree to a job, ask who pulls the permit, whether an inspection is part of the price, and what the written warranty covers and for how long. If something is wrong after the job, report it from your status page; the report goes to a licensed partner electrician and to Aurion Electric.

These are the checks Aurion Electric runs and the checks you can run yourself. They are not a guarantee of any one job.

Where the information comes from

The 100 city pages are built from city permit pages and fee schedules, utility program pages, CAL FIRE and utility shutoff records, and U.S. Census housing data. Each fact carries a source link and the date it was checked. Anything unconfirmed is left out or marked "check with the city".

Price ranges are informational. See how the ranges are built; the last full review was October 30, 2026. Images are AI-generated illustrations, not photos of completed jobs.
